Director Strategic Partnerships & Ad Solutions

Responsible for selling cannabis/CBD/Hemp ad products/solutions by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Sell managed service, self-service, and hybrid service to grow our client base;
  • Have a strong understanding of the advertising landscape and utilize knowledge and relations to identify and solicit potential clients;
  • Understand product offerings and recommend appropriate products based on client’s needs and resources;
  • Promote and manage ongoing relations with existing clients;
  • Prepare reports and proposals as part of a sales presentation to illustrate the benefits and uses of DSP’s products;
  • Work closely with campaign managers to execute, optimize and report on campaign results;
  • Be an Ambassador and bring awareness to the Adcession brand;
  • Provide input into product design where products must be tailored to suit client’s needs;
  • Forecast future sales;
  • Prepare and administer sales contracts;
  • Distribute and oversee completeness of credit applications.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience (digital/ad tech)
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of sales abilities & relationship management
  • Strong experience working in a Sales Department, preferably in digital advertising.
  • Able to handle high level discussions and negotiations.
  • Experience with analytical activities and recommendations
  • Experience engaging with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced capabilities with Excel and a good working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Salesforce
  • Excellent personal organizational skills with attention of detail and accuracy
  • Resourceful, figure-it-out-and-get-it-done mentality with a track record of managing successful sales contracts without the resources and reputation of a large entity
  • Proven collaborator; able to leverage individual strengths to provide value Ability to build strong and trusting relationships
  • Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior executive levels – including the C-Suite
  • Enjoys public speaking and excels at representing brands at events
